Posted on the 05/11/2018 – The fourth transnational meeting of EXPERTISE has taken place from the 28th to the 31st of October 2018. The town of Póvoa de Varzim has hosted two representatives of each partner country and organisation in order to participate in this Erasmus+ initiative. The main objective of the meeting was to get know better Proandi and its practice to work with young people.
In order to continue with the project approach of training youth workers and professionals through the exchange of good practices at transnational level, this activity allowed the Portuguese partner of the project to share its expertise on tools for young people education. According to this, attendees interacted with students of Proandi and together have discussed terms such as what is an emotion, the importance of emotional intelligence in different environments, etc. as base of the good practice shared by the hosting organisation. The main goal of this practice was to apply one tool which could allow the evaluation of emotions and know how to manage them in a work environment. This tool is called Mood Meter and it is used to recognize and understand our emotions and those of others in terms of energy and pleasantness. It can be applied in multiple areas and adapted according to the working target groups. Beside the work on this practice, the partners’ representatives have worked on the administration and bureaucracy issues of the project, as well as on fixing the dates for the two and last meetings of the project.
